America, America
The jig is up.
America hit 250 this year and oh what a time it is to be a Nation. Two hundred and fifty long years of lies, lynchings and lootings. Aren’t you tired America? Of masking the bloodshed with promises of liberty and justice for all? One Nation, under scrutiny Politicians leading us to our doom disguised as diplomacy Conjuring fear and uncertainty So we the people get so lost in the chaos and corruption we surrender our power and question our stake in our own humanity. Please question, but do not question whether or not you have a stake in this war on humanity. One Nation, crumbling under the Patriarchy This Native Land on which we stand These cities built by the Black man’s hand Have withstood the test of time and strength and genocide of Generations As movements rose and fell Watch history repeat itself Now with 250 years of soiled ground to stand on Amerikkka, Amerikkka Take off your mask I can’t attend your party I’ve searched long and hard It ain’t a damn thing to celebrate.
