PUBLISHER TERMS AGREEMENT FOR WRITERS REMARK

1. Ownership and Copyright

1.1 Original Work Declaration

All writing and art featured on Writers Remark (including the Substack Newsletter and associated blog) is original work created by Heaven Golden (”the Publisher”), unless explicitly stated otherwise. The Publisher retains all copyrights and intellectual property rights in original works published under Writers Remark.

1.2 Contributors

Any third-party contributors featured on Writers Remark shall be appropriately credited according to the credit terms agreed upon at the time of publication. Contributor submissions remain the intellectual property of the respective contributor unless a written assignment agreement states otherwise.

2. Licensing and Use Permissions

2.1 Subscriber License

Subscribers to Writers Remark receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and read published content for personal, non-commercial use only. Redistribution, reproduction, or commercial use of content requires explicit written permission from the Publisher.

2.2 Attribution Requirements

When sharing Writers Remark content publicly (where permitted), attribution must include:

• “From Writers Remark by H.R.G.”

• A link to the original publication

3. Substack Platform Terms

3.1 Integration

Writers Remark operates as a Substack-hosted Newsletter. Our Publisher Terms incorporate Substack’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy by reference. Users of the Newsletter are bound by both these Publisher Terms and Substack’s governing terms.

3.2 Payment Processing

For paid subscriptions, payment processing occurs through Substack using Stripe as the payment processor. By subscribing to Writers Remark’s paid offerings, you agree to:

• Substack’s payment terms and billing practices

• Stripe’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy

• Standard subscription billing cycles and renewal terms

Refund policies, billing disputes, chargebacks, and subscription management are handled primarily through Substack’s platform. Subscribers may contact Substack support for payment-related issues at Substack Support. Additional Publisher-specific refund considerations (if any) will be communicated separately at time of purchase.

4. Advertising Disclosure

4.1 Google Ads Participation

Writers Remark participates in Google’s advertising programs. Ad content is controlled by Google and third-party advertisers. The Publisher does not endorse or guarantee the accuracy of advertisement content displayed alongside editorial content.

4.2 Affiliate Relationships

Writers Remark may contain affiliate links. We may earn commission on qualifying purchases made through these links at no additional cost to you.

5. User Conduct and Comments

5.1 Prohibited Content

Users may not post content that:

• Infringes copyright or intellectual property

• Contains harassment, hate speech, or discrimination

• Includes spam, promotional material, or misinformation

• Violates any applicable laws

5.2 Moderation Rights

The Publisher reserves the right to remove any content that violates these terms without prior notice. Repeated violations may result in account suspension or banning.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

Content on Writers Remark is provided “as is” for informational and entertainment purposes. The Publisher makes no warranties regarding accuracy, completeness, or suitability for any particular purpose. Readers should verify important informationindependently.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Publisher shall not be liable for any damages arising from:

• Use or inability to use our services

• Unauthorized access to communications

• Actions or content of third parties (including advertisers)

• Any losses resulting from reliance on published content

8. Termination

The Publisher may terminate or suspend access to Writers Remark services at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, users’ licenses to access content cease immediately.

9. Governing Law

These Publisher Terms shall be governed by the laws of The United States of America, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

10. Entire Agreement

These Publisher Terms, together with referenced third-party agreements (Substack Terms, Google Services Terms, etc.), constitute the entire agreement between you and Writers Remark regarding your use of our services.

11. Amendments

The Publisher may modify these terms at any time. Modified terms take effect upon posting to the Writers Remark platform. Continued use after modification constitutes acceptance.
